Displayed in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2015

Architecture student work whilst at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. The speculative project looked to create a Performance Centre designed for Lapa Square in Rio de Janeiro.

The scheme was designed around a vast viaduct, incorporating a train route running through. It created a centre for dance and performance at a key location on the transport routes between the city’s outer favelas and a central carnival location, looking to break down social and economic barriers between fractured areas of the Brazilian city.
